Hello everyone! I made a new journal! And this is the first entry of my new journal! I get incredibly excited for stuff like that, first entries and new and shiny things. Anyway, I made another mesh. I think I am on a roll. I spent so many years staring at Maxis meshes thinking about ways they could be improved and now I finally can do that. I feel so powerful. Bwahah. Ahem. Anyway. I changed the shoes on the H&M outfit with cargo pants using Kayleygh's wonderful Vans. Because Vans are awesome. Sandals? Not so much! Especially not for men. At least this is my opinion. And I also added a preg morph. I know that not everyone is a big fan of preg morphs on outfits for men, but I am. Plus, this outfit would be perfect for Pascal Curious. And everybody knows about Pascal's little trip in the alien ship and what happened next.

The outfit comes in all the Maxis original colours. Credits go to Maxis (I am being a little repetitive) and H&M (that also made the cardigan I am wearing right now), Kayleygh, who made the shoe mesh and textures, Fantasyrogue and Greeneyedgoblin, for their tutorials on adding morphs and editing meshes. Files are compressorized and not very clearly labeled. Preview and swatch of the colours included. Let me know if I did something wrong. Everything worked fine in my game, but I still do not trust my awesome meshing skillz.

I like the look of whats coming next. and I like the fact you seem to be tackling shoes because shoes and waist lines are the worst things about EA clothes in my opinion :P

I think they should, since when you switch shoes you're creating an entirely new mesh.

Well, I, for one, love preg morphs on male outfits. :D It's not very often that my sim men are pregnant (by aliens only), but if they are, it's nice to have some options! And this looks very nice. :)

also, Nilou, this has nothing to do with this post :P but what mesh is it I need for the Aikea Jeans Maxis'd? because I looove them and I have no idea what mesh it is that I need x)

The mesh is by Ja. My internet connection is incredibly slow at the moment (blame the weather! So. much. wind. My hair looks horrible! Anyway...), so I can't go through her journal looking for it, but if you can't find it I can send you a PM with the mesh as soon as the damn internet works again. :)

And I completely agree with you on Maxis shoes and waist lines. I mean, there are so many pretty dresses which would look a lot better with a decent, fitting waist line!

i love how your sims look! i just love it and that's why i'm asking you where are your new default skintones from? :-) and i have understand that you use rensim's nose masks, but i can't find a one so would you please be so kind that you would tell me? thank you so much!

Leh's skintones can be found here, while Rensim's site seems to be down. Her files are at TS2 Graveyard, and the masks should be here (I think you have to download the file called 'facekit'). I hope this helps!
